Intersections Annual Report

CHALLENGE

District Bridges sought an annual report that reflected their organizational values of fun and storytelling, and better showcased the incredible work that they do.

District Bridges is a community ecosystem development non-profit working to bridge community engagement and economic development opportunities to foster equitable, resilient, and connected communities in DC and beyond. Founded in 2005 by neighbors in Columbia Heights, our values of relationship, collaboration, innovation, diversity, action oriented, fun, story, and inclusion drive our mission and work.

They hired Megan Flynn Marketing in 2023, and again in 2024, to develop an annual report that would reflect their values of fun and storytelling, provide true value to those who work within the community development space, and showcase their work over the past year in an engaging way.

RESULTS

We designed and published “Intersections,” a vibrant annual report that looks great and details the impactful initiatives and programs created and implemented by District Bridges. The District Bridges’ team wrote the articles, and our team provided:

  • Brand development for Intersections
  • Copyediting
  • Layout & graphic design

With stunning infographics and articles, Intersections showcases the organization’s impact through technical assistance to small businesses, event planning, space-making, volunteer work, grant funding and awards, learning summits, and more.

The publication is released in print at District Bridges’ annual Neon Party and is available digitally on their website.
