About Us
Managing a small business is complex and time-consuming. It requires an in-depth understanding of a myriad of areas, including marketing, HR, accounting, local regulations, and—of course—the ins and outs of your actual industry.
Unfortunately, it is often assumed that small businesses will either handle all of these complex components themselves or are profitable enough that they can afford to outsource. It’s a catch 22: to be able to afford to hire someone, you need your business to succeed. But for your business to succeed, you need an effective marketing strategy.
The truth of the matter is no one can be an expert in everything and they shouldn’t have to be.
Megan Flynn Marketing offers personalized marketing strategy and implementation at prices small businesses can afford. We aim to create a world where small businesses can focus on what they do best while having access to the marketing services they need to thrive.

Megan Flynn has more than a decade of marketing experience, ranging from event planning and public relations to website design and digital advertising.
Megan Flynn grew up in Kansas and was immersed in small business from an early age through her family’s restaurant, which her great grandmother started in 1949. By the age of 13, she was employed as a hostess and cashier. As a teenager, she taught herself HTML and CSS and launched her own web and graphic design company to help local businesses develop their online presence.

Megan currently lives with her husband and daughter in the Petworth neighborhood of Northwest Washington.

Addie Steinbacher
Graphic Designer & Artist
Addie Steinbacher joined Megan Flynn Marketing in May 2020. Originally a Kansas native, she relocated to Washington DC in 2014. A lover of art, she broke into graphic design when a local DJ asked her to design a poster in 2015. Since then she has worked with small businesses and community organizations creating posters, logos, murals, and more.
Her most notable work to date has been designing a line of DC neighborhood themed glassware and clothing for local shop Willow DC. Our Company Values
Here’s a little bit about us
We are passionate about fostering growth in our local community by supporting local businesses and organizations. Our company values, objectives, and philosophy are a direct reflection of the kind of workplace we want to inspire: one where we put people first, and where everyone involved is driven to deliver top-notch services with meaningful, positive impact.
We Bring Our True Selves
We celebrate diversity. It doesn’t matter what your age, background, sex, nationality, sexual orientation, level of experience, or gaming ability is. We show each other respect.
We value the whole human – not just what you bring to the office every day, but everything about you and who you are. Here, people are empowered to be themselves and do the best work of their lives.
We're Mission-Driven
Small businesses are the heartbeat of America—they are what make our communities unique. It shouldn’t only be big corporations that can afford high-quality marketing services.
We aim to create a world where small businesses and organizations can focus on what they do best while having access to the marketing services they need to thrive at prices they can afford.
We’re Human-Oriented
We get that most of our waking hours are spent at our jobs, which means our work experience is a major aspect of our life and vital to our happiness.
We believe that when people thrive, so does the company. We’ve designed our work policies with this in mind—offering unlimited PTO, 15+ paid holidays per year, and health insurance.
Simply put: we recognize that we’re all only human. Here, humans will always come first.
We Leave A Positive Impact
“To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived – that is to have succeeded” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson
Our time on this planet is short. We want to be remembered for contributing and making both our communities and our profession better than when we found them.
